Non-euro Currency Settlement System

INTERBOLSA provides to its Financial Intermediaries and other similar Entities the Non-Euro Currency Settlement System (SLME) which uses a “Commercial Bank Money” Foreign Currency Payment System, operated by Caixa Geral de Depósitos S.A. (SPME), for the purpose of financial settlement.

• Payment of income, interest and redemption;
• The settlement of instructions registered in the Real Time Settlement System, (OTC “Non-cleareble” market instructions, among others).

The settlement instructions in foreign currency, not eligible for T2S, are processed as follows:

• The physical settlement is processed in T2S, conditioned to its financial settlement outside the T2S platform;
• The payment instructions resulting from the settlement carried out by SLME are processed by the Foreign Currency Payment System (SPME), operated by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD).
